About Bubba McDaniel
Bubba McDaniel is a mixed martial artist and has been one of the top fighters in the world since turning pro in 2005. During his career he has compiled a 23-9 overall record with 17 of his wins coming by submission. In 2013 McDaniel landed a spot on the hit television show The Ultimate Fighter: Team Jones vs. Team Sonnen. On the show he was the third overall pick by MMA legend Jon Jones and the sixth pick overall. He’d go on to lose in the quarterfinals but landed a spot in the UFC later that year and made his debut on April 13, 2013. In his UFC debut he won via submission and has since joined Bellator MMA as one of their main fighters. McDaniel trains as a member of Jackson’s MMA and uses a Spaz style of fighting that maximizes his size and strength both as a stand up striker and submission specialist on the mat.
