About Bryant Reeves
Bryant Reeves played six seasons in the NBA from1995 to 2001 with the Vancouver Grizzlies. At 7’0, 275 Reeves was a forced to be reckoned with the NBA and during his days as a dominant center at Oklahoma State University where he averaged 21.5 points during his senior year and led the Cowboys to a Final Four appearance in 1995. His numerous college accolades include being named the Big Eight Player of the Year in both 1993 and 1995 and earning First Team All-Big Eight honors in three consecutive seasons from 1993 to 1995. Upon joining the Grizzlies he was an NBA All-Rookie Second Team performer during his first season with the team and went on to score 4,945 points and post 2,745 rebounds to go along with 302 career blocks. During his career he was considered one of the toughest players in the NBA to guard not only because of his size but also because he displayed uncanny athleticism and skills with the ball. Reeves was a big man that could shoot, dribble, and rebound, which made him one of the top players of his era.
