Brian Davis Biography

Brian Davis is a professional golfer who currently competes on the PGA Tour. Originally from England, Davis experienced initial success as an amateur, winning the 1992 Peter McEvoy Trophy. He turned professional in 1994, becoming a member of the European Tour in 1997. In seven seasons playing full time on the PGA Tour, Davis recorded two victories, one in 2000 at the Peugeot Open de Espana and the other in 2004 at the ANZ Championship. Despite not recording a victory during the 2003 season, Davis finished ninth in the overall Tour of Merit, his best career finish. In 2005, Davis played part time on the PGA Tour, eventually shifting his entire focus to the PGA Tour in 2006. In eight seasons on the PGA Tour, Davis has consistently finished in the top 100 standings, and although he has never won a tournament, he has finished in the top 50 of the standings on multiple occasions and has a best finish of sixth in a major championship.
