Bob Estes

Bob Estes is a professional golfer. He picked up the clubs for the first time when he was four years old and decided that he wanted to pursue a professional career at the young age of 12. He continued to pursue his goal by playing for the golf team at the University of Texas where he was a standout star. Bob won the Haskins Award for being the most outstanding collegiate golfer in the nation in his senior year, the same year he turned professional in 1988. He has been on the PGA Tour where he has won four events between 1994 and 2002, he has finished in the top 5 of the Masters Tournament, the top 10 of The Open Championship, and been in the top 20 of the Official World Golf Ranking. He is known best for his success in the short game and even experimenting with the 10 finger grip which is rare in the modern game of golf.
