Billy Blanks Jr is the son of renowned fitness guru Billy Blanks. In addition to being a fitness instructor he has also worked as a dancer and singer on his way to releasing several popular workout DVD’s including “Cardioke” and “Fat Burning Hip Hop Mix.” While things are going great now, it was not always that way. Without the support of his family, mainly his father, Billy and his wife struggled to get their fitness program up and running, and at one point were homeless in pursuit of their dream. In 2012, Billy appeared on the television show “Shark Tank” where he gained an investment in his workout program “Dance It Out.” Essentially in a short period of time Billy and his family went from homeless to famous. He now makes regular appearances on television shows like “The Dr. Oz Show” and in the mainstream media his family has been dubbed as "America's First Family of Fitness."
