About Bill Parcells
Bill Parcells career in football as a coach and team executive has spanned an incredible six decades. After his playing days in college Bill decided to pursue a career in coaching. Bill got his start at Hastings College in 1964, and last coached in 2006 for the Dallas Cowboys serving as the head coach. While Bill is recognized as one of the greatest coaches of all time, especially since Parcells is the only coach in NFL history to lead four different teams to the playoffs and three different teams to a conference championship game, Bill was also a highly regarded team executive for the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins and the Cleveland Browns. With a 172-130-1 record as a coach, Bill became the AP NFL Coach of the Year in 1986 and 1994 as well as six other coach of the year recognitions. Bill led his teams to two Super Bowl victories and three conference championship wins. For his success, Bill has also been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
