About B.J. Armstrong
B.J. Armstrong was a three-time NBA champion with the Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls. Armstrong spent his first six seasons in Chicago and became known as a three-point marksman. He led the three in three-point shooting percentage during the 1993-94 season and finished second in 1994-95. When Jordan left the Bulls to pursue a baseball career, Armstrong was voted All-Star starter in 1994. He also played for the Golden State Warriors, Charlotte Hornets, and Orlando Magic before finishing his career with a final season in Chicago. Armstrong is one of the greatest players in University of Iowa history and has his number retired by the school. He is currently an agent and co-manager of the basketball group at Wasserman Media Group. His client list includes Derrick Rose and Draymond Green. For a period after his playing career, he also worked in the Bulls front office as a special assistant and scout. The Chicago resident is on the Chicago Park District Board of Commissioners.
