Ariana Washington Biography

Ariana Washington was an Olympic gold medalist for Team USA in 2016 in the 4x100 meter relay.  Even prior to achieving Olympic glory, Washington had a banner 2016.  At the NCAA Outdoor Championships, she won the 100m and 200m.  She became the first freshman sprinter to ever accomplish that feat.  Even prior to lacing it up for the University of Oregon, Washington was a track prodigy.  She was an eight-time state champion at Long Beach Poly High School.  That tied the California state record held by fellow Team USA track teammate Allyson Felix.
