About Anthony Fasano
Anthony Fasano is an NFL tight end and one of the longest tenured at his position in the NFL. Fasano’s nine seasons have been spent with the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, and Kansas City Chiefs. His five years with the Dolphins stand out. Fasano caught 177 passes for 2,104 yards and 23 touchdowns with the Fins. Valued more for his blocking than pass catching abilities, Fasano was originally picked by the Cowboys to play across from Jason Witten in two tight end sets. He was a second round pick in the 2006 NFL Draft out of Notre Dame. With the Irish, Fasano was a finalist his senior year for the John Mackey Award given to the nation’s top tight end. His quarterback for his seasons on the field in South Bend was Brady Quinn. Fasano left Notre Dame second all-time in receptions and receiving yards for a tight end.
