About Alyssa Naeher
Alyssa Naeher was a standout goalkeeper for the United States women's national team. Naeher debuted for the senior team in 2014 and was selected for the 2015 and 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup rosters. She became Team USA's starting keeper in 2016, following the retirement of Hope Solo.
Naeher has played professionally for the Chicago Red Stars since 2016. She was named NWSL Goaltender of the Year in 2014 while with the Boston Breakers. Naeher made 88 appearances over four seasons in college at Penn State.
