About Alise Post
Alise Post is a BMX racer who is nicknamed “The Beast”. She started racing when she was six and actually backed out of her first race due to nerves. Post ascended quickly though, becoming the youngest to ever hold the National No. 1 Pro Women’s Title and becoming one of the youngest to turn pro since the sport was professionalized in the 1970s. She is a four time national champion. In 2012, she captured first at the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup. Her best World Championship finish was third in 2010. Post was too young to compete in the 2008 Olympics, but did represent the U.S. in London in 2012. Every year she hosts the “Alise Post MS Race for a Cure” back in her home state of Minnesota. She attended college at the University of San Diego while at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California.
