Three-Time National Championship Coach Tom Osborne Speaks at Good Friday Breakfast of Champions

College football legend Tom Osborne will be making a stop in Mississippi this week. He is speaking at the FCA of Southeast Mississippi's Good Friday Breakfast of Champions. 

The event will be held on Friday at 7 a.m. at the Payne Center on the campus of the University of Southern Mississippi. He will be sharing a special message that is infused with his personal principles of faith. 

Osborne will also have fun stories to tell from his coaching career. Attendees also have an opportunity to take a photo with the iconic coach for $25 and a signed football will be part of the package for all sponsors. 

From 1973-1997, Osborne patrolled the sidelines at the University of Nebraska. He compiled a 255-49-3 record and won 13 conference championships with the Huskers. 

Osborne guided the program to national championships in 1994, 1995 and 1997. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1999. 

Osborne went on to represent Nebraska for three terms in the U.S. House of Representatives. He came back to NU to serve as athletic director from 2007-13.
