About Ricardo Lockette
Ricardo Lockette is a wide receiver who has come up in big moments for the Seattle Seahawks. Lockette went to back-to-back Super Bowls with the franchise. In Super Bowl XLVIII, he he one catch for 19 yards and in Super Bowl XLIX he had three catches for 59 yards. Unfortunately, Lockette was not able to help Seattle during their 2016 playoff run. Earlier in the 2015 season, he suffered a brutal injury while on punt coverage against the Dallas Cowboys. He suffered neck ligament damage and had to undergo surgery, ending his season. After originally signing with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2011, he resigned with the club prior to the 2013 season. In between, Lockette spent time on the practice squads of the San Francisco 49ers and Chicago Bears. During his rookie season, he appeared in two games and had two catches for 105 yards and a touchdown. Lockette played collegiately at Fort Valley State while also competing in track. He won the Division II 200-meter title in 2008 and his track background allowed him to run a 4.34 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine in 2011.
