Former Cavaliers Center Timofey Mozgov Holds Cleveland-Area Autograph Signing

NBA free agency has been very good to recently-crowned champion Timofey Mozgov.  Before the negotiating window opened however, he took time to hold an autograph signing for the Cleveland Cavaliers faithful who were still basking in the glory of their team winning a title.

On June 25th, Mozgov made an appearance at All Star Sports in the Summit Mall in Fairlawn, Ohio.  For $40, fans could get an item signed by the center.

Inscriptions were an extra $10.  There was also a special VIP package for $60 that included two autographs, a meet and greet, and photograph.

Mozgov is taking his talents to the West Coast after reportedly signing a four-year, $64 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.  He is expected to solidify the Lakers frontcourt after becoming the first Russian player to ever win an NBA championship with the Cavs.

Mozgov has played an important role in back-to-back NBA Finals appearances for Cleveland.  He was acquired in the middle of the 2015 season and averaged 10.6 points and 6.9 rebounds per game in 46 games down the stretch.

In 2010, Mozgov was signed by the New York Knicks.  He spent part of his rookie season in New York before being traded to the Denver Nuggets.
