Zac Taylor

Zac Taylor is the head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals. At the time of his hire, he was the second youngest head coach in the NFL. Taylor gained acclaim working under Sean McVay with the Los Angeles Rams. He served as assistant wide receivers in 2017 and quarterbacks coach in 2018. Under Taylor's guidance, Rams' quarterback Jared Goff improved and the Rams went to Super Bowl LIII. Prior to becoming Bengals head coach, he had previous experience in Cincinnati, serving as the offensive coordinator at the University of Cincinnati in 2016. From 2012-15, Taylor became a rising star in the coaching ranks working in a variety of positions for the Miami Dolphins. He originally began his career as a graduate assistant at Texas A&M under his father-in-law Mike Sherman from 2008-11. Taylor had a standout career as a college quarterback, starting as a backup at Wake Forest before transferring to Butler County Community College. In his one season, he threw for over 3,000 yards and led the school to the NJCAA Championship game. Taylor then transferred back to the Division 1 ranks at Nebraska, where he started for two seasons. In his final year, he led the Huskers to the Big 12 Championship Game, compiling over 3,000 yards and 26 touchdowns along the way.
