About Will Shaner
Will Shaner made history at the Tokyo Olympics. Shaner was the first American to win Olympic gold in 10-meter air rifle while also setting a record for the Games in the process. His success was perhaps a foregone conclusion after he finished second in the individual competition and helped the University of Kentucky win the team competition at the 2021 NCAA Rifle Championships. Shaner also has a bronze medal in 50 m rifle prone from the 2018 World Championships.
