About Victor Cruz
Victor Cruz was an All-State wide receiver in high school before beginning his college career at the University of Massachusetts. Although he struggled to balance school and football, Cruz managed to leave UMass with a successful football career and graduate with his Bachelors Degree. On the gridiron, Cruz scored 11 TDs and finished just shy of 2,000 career yards. At the 2010 NFL Draft, Cruz went undrafted but was signed the following day as a free agent by the New York Giants where he spent his entire NFL career. After an injury halted his rookie season, Cruz got increased playing time and made a name for himself as one of the Leagues premier deep threats. He compiled over 4,500 receiving yards, 25 TDs and is tied for the NFL record for longest TD reception (99 yards). Cruz was knonw as much for his playing abilities as he was for his celebrations, ending every touchdown with his signature salsa dance.
