About Trey Hillman
Before he became a coach of baseball, Trey Hillman played the game in the major leagues. His playing career began in college when he attended the University of Texas at Arlington. After his college career Trey made the transition to Major League Baseball when he was signed by the Cleveland Indians. He played in the Indians minor league system for several seasons before he became a part of the Kansas City Royals where he made his major league debut in 2008. Hillman has since gone on to be a part of 359 games in the majors, but he has also been a part of baseball internationally when he played in Japan for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters where he aided the team in winning the 2006 Japan Series Championship. Since he has quit playing, Trey has become a manager and coach for different teams including the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the Houston Astros where he is currently the bench coach.
