About Trevor Marsicano
Trevor Marsicano is a professional speed skater. While he started playing hockey at a young age, he decided to transition to short track speed skating with the Saratoga Winter Club. Following an injury he made yet another transition to long track speed skating in 2004. Leading up to the 2010 Winter Olympics Trevor participated in the 2007 World Junior Championships where won a bronze medal. Following that he competed in the 2009 World Championships in several events where he took home two bronze medals, a silver medal, and a gold medal. A lifelong dream was realized in 2010 when Trevor made it to the Olympics and competed in several events including the team pursuit where Trevor was able to lead the Americans to a silver medal. In 2011 following the Olympics, Trevor remained at the top of the sport when he was a part of the team pursuit at the 2011 World Championships where he won yet another gold medal.
