About Travis Ford
Travis Ford has been a head coach in college basketball for nearly three decades. Ford is best known for his run at Oklahoma State, where he led the Cowboys to five NCAA Tournament appearances in eight years.
Ford subsequently coached at St. Louis, guiding the Bilikins to four 20-plus win seasons and an Atlantic 10 Tournament title in 2019.
Ford began his head coaching career on the NAIA level at Campbellsville University. He went 28-3 record in his second season earning him the Mid-South Conference Coach of the Year Award. He went on to coach at Eastern Kentucky, where he made his first NCAA Tournament appearance in 2005, and UMass, where he won the A10 Conference regular season championship in 2007.
Before his career in coaching, Travis played basketball competitively in high school and later in college at the University of Missouri. While Travis was only at Missouri for a season he was named to the Big Eight Conference All-Freshman team. He then transferred to the University of Kentucky where he set school records in single-game assists and single-season three-point field goals made.
