About Tony Romo
As the quarterback of “America’s Team” the Dallas Cowboys, Tony Romo, took an unusual path to the top. When the Cowboys signed him as an undrafted free agent out of NCAA Div. I-AA Eastern Illinois in 2003 they saw something special and they were right. He took over the quarterback job in 2006 and proved to the world he was an elite quarterback. In 2007 he led the NFC in touchdown passes and followed that up by leading the NFC in passing yards in 2009. As a four-time Pro-Bowl player he passed for 34,183 yards and 248 touchdowns over. Due to his popularity, personality and style he has been a brand ambassador for numerous companies over the course of his professional career. Off the field he’s also lent his hand to several worthy causes, including the United Way, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He is currently the lead game analyst for CBS Sports' NFL coverage.
