Tommy La Stella Biography

Tommy La Stella is an All-Star second baseman for the Oakland Athletics. La Stella broke out with the Los Angeles Angels in 2019, hitting .301 with 11 home runs and 25 RBI. He previously spent three seasons with the Chicago Cubs, helping them win the World Series in 2016. The Atlanta Braves were La Stella's first organization, selecting him in the eight-round of the 2011 MLB Draft. He made his major league debut with the Braves in 2015 before being traded to the Cubs. La Stella played college baseball at St. John's and Coastal Carolina.
