About Todd Marinovich
Todd Marinovich starred at the University of Southern California during his college days and was the prototypical quarterback prospect heading into the 1991 NFL Draft. Known for his work ethic and intense training regime, he was selected in the 1st round of the 1991 NFL draft by the Los Angeles Raider and played one season in the NFL before deciding to pursue a life outside of football. Although he made his way back to football in 1999 and earned Arena Football League All-Rookie team honors in 2000, he ultimately decided to live outside the gridiron and decided that his happiness came from a fulfilled life that did not include throwing passes and dodging opposing defenders. In 2011 ESPN released a documentary film called “The Marinovich Project”, chronicling the training he underwent under his father’s guidance and how it ultimately led to his leaving the game so early in his career. He’s since become a speaker and enjoys meeting with people and sharing his story of redemption and happiness.
