About Tim Connelly
Connelly was originally hired by the Denver Nuggets as their executive vice president of basketball operations and general manager in 2013. He was promoted to president of basketball operations in 2017. He stockpiled the Nuggets with some assets as the hope to begin a climb to the top of the Western Conference. Prior to arriving in Denver, Connelly was the assistant general manager of the New Orleans Hornets for three years. He originally spent a decade in the Washington Wizards organization, beginning there as a basketball operations intern in 1996. Connelly rose through the Wizards scouting department, eventually becoming director of scouting.
