About Tim Anderson
Tim Anderson is currently a shortstop for the Miami Marlins. Anderson established himself as one of the most dynamic offensive weapons in baseball during his time with the Chicago White Sox from 2016-23. Anderson had over 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases in 2018 and then stepped his game up a year later, winning the American League batting title after hitting .335.
In 2020, Anderson tied for the AL lead in runs scored and won his first Silver Slugger Award. He was named to back-to-back All-Star teams in 2021 and 2022.
Anderson was part of the silver-medal-winning Team USA squad in the 2023 World Baseball before playing his final season with the White Sox.
Before pro baseball, Anderson played at East Central Community College and was selected in the first round of the 2013 MLB draft by Chicago.
