About Thomas Davis
Thomas Davis is a legend at linebacker for the Carolina Panthers, spending over a decade with the franchise and making three Pro Bowls. In 2015, Davis had the best season of his career. He made his first Pro Bowl roster and his first All-Pro squad, finishing with 105 tackles, 5.5 sacks, seven pass deflections, and four interceptions.
That season, Davis was also instrumental in the Panthers road to Super Bowl 50. Despite suffering a broken arm in the NFC Championship Game, he still played in the Super Bowl and recorded seven tackles in the loss to the Denver Broncos.
As a rookie in 2005, Davis also got a taste of winning with Carolina making it to the NFC title game. He was originally the 14th overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft after playing collegiately at Georgia, where he was a consensus first-team All-American and All-SEC selection.
During his career, Davis was also lauded for his sportsmanship and character off the field. In 2016, he won both the "Whizzer" White NFL Man of the Year and the Bart Starr Award. He was the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year in 2014 as well.
