About Shonn Greene
Shonn Greene is a professional running back in the NFL. Greene attended the University of Iowa where he played football on the Iowa Hawkeyes football team. Greene missed the entire 2007 season because he left the University due to academic deficiencies. Greene then enrolled at Kirkwood Community College to improve his grades and in 2008, he returned to Iowa. In 2008, Greene had a breakout season; he won the Doak Walker Award, and the Jim Brown Trophy. He was also recognized as a unanimous All-American and was named First-Team AllBig Ten. Greene helped the Hawkeyes win the 2009 Outback Bowl and shortly after the win, he announced that he would be entering the 2009 NFL Draft. The New York Jets selected Greene as the 65th overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. He remained with the Jets until 2012. On March 13, 2013, Greene signed a three-year, $10 million deal with the Tennessee Titans.
