About Shaun White
Shaun White is the most decorated American snowboarder in history and one of the most popular skateboarders on the circuit today. To date he has won 18 Winter XGames medals in the Superpipe and Slopestyle events including 13 Gold Medals, three Silvers and two Bronze Medals. In skateboarding he has captured another two X-Games golds, two silvers and a bronze. To top it all off he has captured two gold medals in the Halfpipe event at the 2006 Turin and 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games. At only 5’8 he is not a big man, but his accomplishments are larger than life. As a youngster he shredded the slopes of Bear Mountain and the streets of Southern California, perfecting the tricks he would use to become a legend as a pro. In addition to his competition success he has also been a valuable brand ambassador for Burton Snowboards, Oakley Inc., Red Bull, Ubisoft and Hewlett-Packard. White is one of the most recognizable extreme sports athlete in the world.
