About Sean Marks
Sean Marks is the general manager for the Brooklyn Nets. Prior to starting his career as an NBA executive, he was the first New Zealander to play in the league. Marks played for ten NBA seasons. He was part of the San Antonio Spurs team that won an NBA championship in 2005. Marks also played for New Zealand in the Olympics in 2000 and 2004. After retiring in 2011, he became a basketball operations assistant for the San Antonio Spurs and the general manager of the Austin Toros. He went on to serve as a Spurs assistant coach during the 2013-14 season where they won a title. Marks went back into the front office as San Antonio's assistant general manager until he was hired by the Nets.
