About Sean Doolittle
Sean Doolittle is a former star for the Washington Nationals. He previously starred Washington Nationals from 2017-2020. Doolittle was originally acquired by the Nationals via trade from the Oakland Athletics midway through the 2017 season. He proceeded to post 21 saves and a 1.86 ERA and helped the Nationals lock down the National League East Division. Doolittle was originally selected by the A's in the first round of the 2007 MLB Draft. He was drafted as a position player, but transitioned to the mound in 2011. He miraculously made his major league debut as a pitcher in 2012. While Doolittle spent much of his time as a middle reliever in Oakland, he did total 22 saves and made the All-Star Team in 2014. Doolittle was a two-way player in college at the University of Virginia and left school with a program-record 22 victories.
