About Scott Piercy
Scott Piercy is a Las Vegas, Nevada native and played his college golf at San Diego State University. In 2001 he turned pro and played on a variety of min-tours until earning a spot on the Nationwide Tour in 2008. During his first season on tour he won the Preferred Health Systems Wichita Open and the Northeast Pennsylvania Classic with a combined score of 35 under. The following year he finished 9th on the Nationwide Tour money list and earned his PGA Tour card. Since joining the PGA Tour he has had several solid finishes in majors, including a tie for 5th place at the 2013 PGA Championship, a 51st place finish at the 2011 U.S. Open and a 54th place finish at the 2013 Masters Tournament. In 2011 he captured his first PGA Tour win at the Reno-Tahoe Open and followed that up with another win at the RBC Canadian Open in 2012.
