Sandy Alcantara is a pitcher for the Miami Marlins. Alcantara made his first All-Star team in 2019 after debuting with the Marlins the previous season. He won the National League Cy Young Award in 2022. Prior to being called up in 2018, he was ranked as Miami's third-best prospect by MLB.com. Alcantara made his major league debut with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2017 after being signed by the club as an international free agent in 2013.
