Ryan McBean, currently a free agent, has an extensive history in the National Football League. Prior to his professional debut, McBean was a Jamaica native that moved to the states at a young age. He starred on his high school football team at Trinity High School in Texas, where he was named the District Defensive Most Valuable Player among countless other nominations and was recognized on the Dallas Morning News. McBean attended community college in Mississippi for a year before transferring to Oklahoma State, where he led the football team to numerous victories for two seasons. He was then selected in the 2007 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. McBean has since played for the Denver Broncos, Baltimore Ravens. Most recently, he was signed with the Arizona Cardinals but was released before the season’s commencement. Despite his release, McBean has seventy-seven recorded professional tackles to be proud of along with a Super Bowl championship with the Baltimore Ravens in 2012. He continues to display a positive attitude and is expected to come back strong as a defensive end in the National Football League.
