Ryan Grant

Ryan Grant is a former NFL running back from Nyack, New York. Grant was born in the early 1980’s and moved to New Jersey early on in his childhood. During his senior year of high school, he was praised with the honor of holding the New Jersey Player of the Year title granted by USA Today. Although a three-sport athlete excelling in basketball and track and field, as well, Grant chose to pursue a career in collegiate football at the University of Notre Dame. He graduated from Notre Dame with a degree in sociology and computer applications along with 2,220 yards and 18 touchdowns. He was then signed as a undrafted free agent by the New York Giants in the 2005 NFL Draft. Since, Grant has played with the Washington Redskins and Green Bay Packers twice. He was a Super Bowl XLV Champion with the Packers in 2011 before his professional career came to an end in 2012. Grant will forever go down in history with having the longest career touchdown run, with 66 yards, the most rushing yards in a game, with 201, and as the third undrafted player to rush for 1,200 yards in a season.
