About Russell Wilson
Russell Wilson is one of the greatest quarterbacks of his generation. Wilson began his career as a third-round pick of the Seattle Seahawks and went on to defy the odds. He became a nine-time Pro Bowler in ten seasons in Seattle.
Wilson went to back-to-back Super Bowls in his second and third seasons in the NFL, winning Super Bowl XLVIII. He led the NFL in passer rating in 2015, passing touchdowns in 2017 and was named a Second Team All-Pro in 2019.
Wilson also became known as one of the good guys in the league and was named the Walter Payton Man of the Year in 2020. He embarked on a new stage of his career in 2022 when he was traded to the Denver Broncos. Wilson spent two seasons in Denver before signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Prior to starring on the biggest stage, Wilson played both football and baseball for North Carolina State University before transferring to Wisconsin. While at NC State, Wilson was the first freshman quarterback to earn first-team All-ACC honors.
During his one year with the Badgers, he led UW to a Big Ten title and Rose Bowl victory while setting the single-season FBS record for passing efficiency.
