About Rosalyn Gold-Onwude
Rosalyn Gold-Onwude is one of the most popular womens basketball analysts in the country. She attended Stanford University where she was a fierce defender for the Lady Cardinals basketball team, earning Pac-10 Defender of the Year honors as a senior. After her graduation, Ros briefly worked for Tesla Motors before making the leap into broadcasting. She was approached by several large broadcasters to call their coverage of womens basketball games and splits her time between ESPN, the Pac-12 Network, and MSG. She mainly calls the WNBAs New York Liberty as well as women's college games. She is also a reporter for the New York Knicks, the Golden State Warriors, and the San Francisco 49ers. She was asked to play for the Nigerian National team and was given permission to do so from ESPN in 2011. She spends the college regular season calling for the Pac-12 and select ESPN games and moves to the WNBA season once the college season is over.
