Rory Sabbatini Biography

Rory Sabbatini came over to America from South Africa to pursue a career in professional golf. Following a college career at the University of Arizona, Sabbatini joined the PGA Tour in 1998. In the early part of his career, he found decent success, winning his first 5 tournaments throughout the 2000s. He has compiled 6 Tour wins on his resume with his best coming in 2003 where he won with a 4 stroke lead over the competition. In major tournaments he hasn’t found much success, his best performance however was a T-2nd performance at the 2007 Masters. His best finish on the Money List was in 2006 when he was 12th and in 2007 he made his first appearance in the World Golf Ranking’s top 10 at #8. He went on to spend 20 weeks in the top 10 between 2007 and 2008.
