About Ronaldinho
Ronaldinho is known as one of the greatest soccer players of his generation. He won back-to-back FIFA Player of the Year Awards in 2004 and 2005. Ronaldinho came up in the professional ranks in Brazil playing for Gremio. He would go on to star for Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Milan in Europe. Barcelona was where he would experience his greatest success. He won both his player of the year trophies while and the 2005 Ballon d'Or with the club. Ronaldinho also helped Barcelona win La Liga twice and the UEFA Champions League in 2006. He closed his competitve career out with several Brazilian clubs and the Mexican side Queretaro. In international play, Ronaldinho made 97 appearances for Brazil and scored 33 goals. He was a member of the team that was victorious at the 2002 World Cup. He now serves as a club ambassador for Barcelona.
