About Ron Waterman
After graduating from the University of Northern Colorado, Ron Waterman accepted a position as a high school art teacher, where he also coached the football and wrestling teams. After 9 years as a teacher and coach, Waterman began an MMA career that quickly flourished. After just three professional fights, Waterman competed in UFC 20 where he won by TKO. Waterman went on to compile a 16-6-2 record for his MMA career. After a successful start to his UFC career, Waterman was offered a contract by WWE and became a part of their traveling team shortly after. Waterman has twice earned the title of Super Heavyweight Champion of WEC (World Extreme Cage fighting). He then went on to travel Japan as a part of New Japan Pro Wrestling.
