About Rick Neuheisel
Rick Neuheisel began playing sports in high school where he was a letter winner in football, basketball, and baseball. In college Rick played for UCLA on the schools football team where he went from a walk on to the starting quarterback by his senior season, and led his team to a Rose Bowl victory in 1984 and was named the MVP of the game. After college Neuheisel went onto play in the USFL and NFL for several seasons before becoming a coach. He began as a graduate assistant at his alma mater in 1986 and later landed his first head coaching position in 1995 with Colorado before eventually becoming head coach at UCLA. Rick led his team to a PAC-10 Championship before he coached his final game and went on to work in broadcasting with CBS Sports Network and the Pac-12 network as a studio and game analyst in 2012.
