About Richie Laryea
Richie Laryea is a midfielder and defender for Toronto FC. After signing with Toronto FC early in the 2019 season, Laryea scored his first MLS goal. He was originally drafted in the first round of the 2016 MLS SuperDraft by Orlando City SC. Laryea played in 21 matches over three seasons for Orlando City. He was a college star at the University of Akron, helping them reach the semifinals of the College Cup in 2015. He was also a two-time All-Mid-American Conference selection. On the international side, Laryea has played in games for Canada's senior national team.
