About Rex Grossman
In college, Rex Grossman played football for the University of Florida. In college he led the team from the quarterback position to the 2000 SEC Conference Championship, and three bowl games. He was a first team All-American and a runner up for the Heisman Trophy in 2001. He was also named the SEC Player of the Year and AP National Player of the Year in 2001. In 2003 Rex entered the NFL Draft where he became the number 22 overall selection for the Chicago Bears. In his first few years he battled injuries, but in his first full season in 2006, Rex became an NFL Offensive Player of the Month and led the team to the NFC Championship and a berth in the Super Bowl. Since the start of his career he has racked up more than 10,000 passing yards from 863 pass completions and earned the Ed Block Courage Award.
