About Ralph Krueger
Ralph Krueger has been involved in sport his whole life. He played soccer early on in school and then transitioned to ice hockey. He accumulated 187 goals and 186 assists in 350 games for the German Ice Hockey League. After he quit playing he went into coaching in Germany. He was the leader that led the VEU Feldkirch team to five consecutive Austrian championships and a championship in the European Ice Hockey League in 1998. After coaching the Swiss national ice hockey team for several years Ralph made the move to the NHL where he became an assistant coach and eventually was promoted to the head coach of the Oilers. After a stint with the Oilers, and after being a special advisor for the Canadian team in the 2014 Winter Olympics Ralph made another transition to soccer where he is the chairman of the Southampton club. Kruegers excellent communication, positive thinking, and ability to motivate led him to also having success as an author with the book Teamlife Beyond Setbacks to Success.
