About Rachel Baker
Rachel Baker holds perhaps as one of a kind position in college basketball as the general manager for Duke men's basketball. Baker is overseeing many important aspects of the program, including the ever-emerging NIL opportunities for players. She comes to Duke after spending the previous eight years at Nike, leading the grassroots partnerships and event strategy for the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League. Baker was also involved in Nike's strategic decisions with signature athlete Kevin Durant. She previously had spent one year working for the NBA's league office in marketing. Baker played lacrosse at La Salle University and earned a degree in communications. She has an executive education certificate from Harvard in the business of entertainment, media and sport as well.
