Quinton Byfield Biography

Quinton Byfield is a star center for the Los Angeles Kings. The Kings originally selected Byfield with the second overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft. With that selection, he became the highest-drafted black player in league history. While in the AHL, Byfield was also on the first all-black line in professional hockey since the 1940s. He made his NHL debut with LA in 2021, playing in six games before an injury derailed his season.
