About Pam Ward
Pam Ward is a sports broadcaster who currently works for ESPN, mainly reporting and broadcastingwomen’s softball andbasketball. Her career at ESPN began in 1996 as an anchor for ESPNEWS, and shehas done various work for the company, including WNBA Shootaround, NBA Today, NFL Tonight, ESPNRadio, and much more. In 2000, Ward made history by becoming the first women to work play by playannouncing for a division one NCAA football game. Ward was promoted to full time announcing dutiesin 2011, and fulfilled this role until 2012. After being removed from a commentator for NCAA football,Ward now primarily announces NCAA women’s sports, including the 2012 and 2013 Women’s CollegeWorld Series.
