About Owen Daniels
Owen Daniels is a professional tight end for the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL. Daniels attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he played football for the Badgers football team. Daniels was redshirted during his freshman year as the quarterback position. Daniels assumed the starting tight end job for most of his final two years with the Badgers. The Houston Texans selected Daniels as the 98th overall pick in the 4th round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Daniels made the NFL All-Rookie Team in 2006. Daniels made his first trip to the Pro Bowl in 2009 after having an excellent 2008 season. Daniels tore his ACL during the November 1, 2009 game against the Buffalo Bills and was placed on season ending injury reserve. In 2012, Daniels made his second Pro Bowl appearance. The Texans released Daniels on March 11, 2014. In April, the Baltimore Ravens signed Daniels to a one-year contract.
