About Ovie Mughelli
Ovie Mughelli is a former professional football fullback who played for the Baltimore Ravens, Atlanta Falcons, and St. Louis Rams of the NFL. Mughelli attended Wake Forest University where he was a letterman for the Demon Deacons football team. The Baltimore Ravens selected Mughelli in the 4th round of the 2003 NFL Draft. Mughelli scored his first NFL touchdown in 2006 and he went All-Pro for the first time in his career. Mughelli signed with the Atlanta Falcons on March 2, 2007 for a 6-year, 18 million contract. Mughelliâs contract was the largest given to a fullback in NFL history at the time. Mughelli went All-Pro for the second time in his career during the 2010 season and he was elected to his first Pro Bowl. The Falcons released Mughelli on May 8, 2012. On July 28, 2012, Mughelli signed with the St. Louis Rams, but he was soon released on August 31, 2012. In 2012, he joined WZGC â92.9 the Gameâ sports station as a host. He then joined the all-digital sports network, 120 Sports in 2014.
