Bob Golic Biography

Bob Golic is a former National Football League defensive tackle. Prior to playing in the NFL Golic played in college at the University of Notre Dame from 1975-1978. He was selected as a first-team All-American twice and led his team to the 1977 NCAA National Championship victory for the Fighting Irish. Golic was the 52nd pick in the NFL Draft, selected the New England Patriots where he played before moving on to the Cleveland Browns and the Los Angeles Raiders. Golic is a three time Pro Bowl selection and a two time All-Pro. After he retired from playing Bob took on a new challenge. He began to pursue a career in acting and most notably had a part in the film Saved by the Bell: The College Years. Bob has also worked as an analyst for NBC’s NFL coverage from 1994 through 1996 and hosted a sports talk radio program in the Los Angeles area.
