About Onyeka Okongwu
Onyeka Okongwu came to USC highly-regarded and delivered in his one college season. He was a first-team All-Pac 12 selection after averaging 16.2 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. Okongwu was ranked a five-star recruit by Rivals and ESPN when he committed to the Trojans. He gained notoriety as a two-time Mr. California Basketball and three-time state champion at Chino Hills High School. After the 2019-2020 season, Okongwu announced that he would enter the 2020 NBA draft and forgo his final three years of college basketball eligibility. Okongwu was selected with the sixth overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft by the Atlanta Hawks.
